How many times have I read "The cruelty is the point" and while that seems to be true, it doesn't begin to take in the disruption to human lives, especially for the elderly, the ill, the mentally ill, etc. Honestly, I think the cruelty is just a symptom of something even darker and nefarious. Chaos definitely describes my past week, but in reality it doesn't compare to the mess this administration has made of everyone's lives. Even more so for those that are on the fringe of society already. You describe so well the problems , I pray that policy makers could just understand it.
